Some children have difficulty communicating with others and the lack of appropriate social skills makes school and recreation challenging.   In our social skills groups, led by a qualified, experienced speech and language professional, children learn social skills, problem-solving skills  while having fun in a small group.

Our Groups are designed to help children learn how to greet others, start a conversation, respond to others, maintain a conversation, take turns and ask for help.

Children experiencing the following may benefit from participation:

  • speech and language delay
  • learning difficulties
  • autism spectrum disorder
  • difficulty with emotional and behavioural regulation
  • low self-esteem
  • anxiety
