Parents with children 6 and under or parents-to-be meet every two weeks to receive parenting information, learn about supports available in the community and share a nutritious meal.
Children participate in the children’s program which is designed to monitor and enhance their growth and development.
Gift Certificates for fresh food, prenatal vitamins and milk are provided. Simply Supper (a meal in a bag) is available for families in need.
Transportation is provided.
The Program is funded by Public Health Agency Canada, Community Action Program for Children and Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program in partnership with SIRCH at no cost to participating families.
Program Locations and Times:
Where: Rotary Hall 179 Saskatoon Ave., Campbellford.
When: 2nd and 4th Friday of every month from 10:30 to 12:30.
Where: Fellowship Baptist Church 469 Elgin Street West, Coboug.
When: 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of every month from 10:30 to 12:30.
Where: NCDC Family and Learning Centre, 205 Peter St., Port Hope
When: 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month from 10:30 to 12:30.
