Our Northumberland Bridges Program supports families who are living with a fixed or low income and who may be experiencing other situations which are challenging to their families health and wellbeing.

Parents with children 6 and under or parents-to-be meet every two weeks to receive parenting information, learn about supports available in the community and share a nutritious meal.

Children participate in the children’s program which is designed to monitor and enhance their growth and development.

Gift Certificates for fresh food, prenatal vitamins and milk are provided to eligible participants.   Simply Supper (a meal in a bag) is available for all families in need.

Assistance with transportation to group is provided.

The Program is funded by Public Health Agency Canada, (Community Action Program for Children and Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program) in partnership with SIRCH,  at no cost to participating families.
