This 1 ½ hour parent workshop explains what self regulation is and offers practical suggestions for parents to use as they help their children gain control of their emotions and their bodies. We will look at:

  • What self regulation involves: emotions, behaviour and attention
  • What gets in the way: anxiety, frustration, communication and comfort
  • Modeling self regulation
  • Getting enough sleep
  • Routines and rules
